A short, but FABULOUS album!
I’ve always loved the music by the multi-talented Serge Gainsbourg, but am ashamed to say, have never purchased an album of his – until now that is. I think it’s safe to say I made the right choice here, though to be honest and not ashamed to say that I was probably swayed by the sultry and handsome image of him on the front cover!This is a collection of ten FABULOUS songs – all penned by the man himself. There’s some pretty catchy numbers here, and they’re all lovely and short – the whole album in fact being no more than twenty-five minutes in total which is just how I like it! It will definitely be played often!After this, I shall most definitely be purchasing more from Serge’s back catalogue – I’m just sorry I didn’t start purchasing sooner…A gorgeous and talented guy!Highly recommended!

Cette réédition des premiers Gainsbourg est de grande qualité, les pochettes originales restaurées sont de très bonne facture (photos parfaites) et c’est un véritable plaisir. Les disques sont des équivalents 180g en 30cm et fabriqués par gzvinyl, qui s’occupe de pas mal de rééditions “back to black”. C’est très bon : restitution sans faille du grave à l’aigu, masters excellents, probablement les mêmes que les masters 24bits utilisés dans les rééditions “vinyl replica” ou des compils comme “Du jazz dans le ravin”, “Comic Strip”, etc. Du tout bon ! Amoureux du vinyle, profitez de l’occasion, m’étonnerait qu’on les réédite à l’avenir…
