~About Nippers~
The original painting of Victor Mark was painted in 1889 by British painter Francis Balloud. The “nipper” of Fox Terrier is the model of the painting and listening to the phonograph.
Nippers were originally dominated by Francis brother Mark H. Balloud.However, he has left this world, and he will be drawn by Francis.One day he had his house with a phonographic instrument that had heard of his brother before blowing.Then the nippers listened to hear the sound of a good master.The nipper’s figure was inspired by Francis and draws a single painting.It then titled His Master’s Voice on the painting.
Nipper’s sweet appearance is heard to nostalgic of the lost, and impress Berliner, the inventor of a disc phonogonist, and he registered this masterpiece in 1900.Since then, this timeless mark has been deeply trusted and loved by people as a symbol of superior technology and quality.

現在はオーディオ系でVICTOR製品はないけれど、スピーカーの近くに置いています。サイズに合った蓄音機も探しましたが見当たらず、小ぶりの蓄音機型鉛筆削りとセットしています。
