    B＆W805D3の低音補強に本機を追加しました。クロスオーバーは60Hzに設定。本機のデジタルハイパスフルター経由で805D3をヤマハのAS800ダイレクトモードで使用。RMEのADI-2DACFSで主にYOUTUBE MUSICを聴いています。８０５本体でもそこそこの低音は出ますが本機追加で締まった重低音はよく出ます。本機はフィルターをパスする設定も可能ですが805D3は本機を通さないフルレンジ使用でも良いかもしれません。　KEF営業マンによればよく売れているそうですがメインSPもKEFなら使い勝手も良いのでしょうね。上手な使い方があれば教えてください。なお発熱を気にするご意見がありましたが無信号が続くと自動的にスタンバイになりますので電源は入れっぱなしです。本機のデジタルフィルターを経由すると中高音域が音質的にシャープになるように感じます。求めていた低音に一気に近づき透明感とエネルギーを体感できます。例えるならコントラバスの弦の音がボワンボワンでなくブルンブルンと原音らしく聞こえます。　大満足で毎日聴くようになりました。

    Wonderful pair with the KEF LS-50 Meta
    Using this with the KEF LS-50 Meta has been the perfect match for me. I loved the KEF-LS 50 Meta’s but this little sub adds the umph I wanted in the low end. It makes hip-hop sound the way it should. It does great for all other music types as well.

    Box arrived damaged, hum at 60 hertz coming through the speaker
    Like UPS damaged the box in transit, and decided to put it inside of another box for Transport. When I took the item out, it looks like the inner box and the packaging took the major brunt of the damage, and the subwoofer seem to be OK after plugging it in there was a low level hum that would not go away regardless of the outlet and that’s without the subwoofer cable even plugged in. I looked around online and there seems to be an issue with subwoofers that are bought through Amazon so I’m going to do a price match through a competitor rather than run the risk of getting a product that is used.

    Very nice woofer
    Very nice woofer. Very small size yet very heavy! 40lbs. The woofer has a volume and 5 presets and also it let’s you set low/high frequency to produce in a woofer rather than a speaker. It will give you the perfect setting for any other system or environment. The only bottom side is that the coaxial cable is not included and you need to pay additional 150 to get a wireless adapter.
