I had this first on vinyl got played to destruction so time to update.Saw the ridiculous price so downloaded the mp3 version.After 2 days of to-ing and fro-ing between amazon (and hours on the phone) and myself, we finally managed to do it (problems with their downloader and my computer apparently.)However it WAS worth the hassle as I hadnt played it for ages and had forgotten how beautiful this is .Not one dud track on it. This is early roberta and ,like most artistes,the early music is the purer before the big orchestrations creep in and the commercial takes over and blandness/laziness take over like some of her later recordings.Her voice rings out truly and the minimum backing and beautiful background voices make this an audio joy.This really is a stunning album and I actually think this is her best

I was watching the TV show The Americans and this song, To Love Somebody, was played towards the end and knew right away it was Roberta but did not recognize the song. I went to Amazon and found the song on this album and bought it. I bought this from Stuff in Tom’s Garage in NYC. Thanks Tom! This CD was well worth the price. I love it. I am thrilled I added this to my CD collection. I love Roberta Flack and I think this is her best CD. Super Fast shipping, excellent packaging and item as described and shown. Highly recommend.
