Our theme for Volume 10 (the Season 1 Finale) is “Songs about Death – A Laura’s Dad Tribute” – …which is actually a tribute to a tribute, specifically to the awesome scene from Championship Vinyl in the legendary ode to the record-collecting movie, High Fidelity. “It was Dean, you fuckin’ idiot” … “It was Jan” …‘Tell Laura I Love Her’. That would bring the house down. Laura’s mom could sing it…”
